Yr 2 – Banquet Ball

In Year 2, the children wanted to see how castles would have been used.  We realised rulers would have thrown extravagant balls, so we decided to throw our own Banquet Ball.  In our English lessons, we wrote invitations using suffix adjectives and interesting verbs to ensure people would come.  At the ball, we did some traditional dancing, ate food we had instructed Mrs Hartt to make and played traditional games such as charades.  The next day, we wrote a diary entry, in role, reflecting on the exciting time we had.
