Go Newdigate!! – A great sports day was had by all with the children giving their upmost and supporting each other and working as a team.
A huge thank you goes to Tom Stimpson for being our guest of honour. For those of you who do not know, Mr Stimpson (MBE) has served for 26 years in the Royal Air Force, visiting Germany, Gibraltar, Bavaria, Brussels, Ascension Islands, Naples, The Falkland Islands, Iraq and Afghanistan. He is now a veteran and an Ambassador for Help for Heroes. He was selected for The United Kingdom Invictus Games in Orlando Florida in May 2016, taking part against 14 other nations of wounded and injured Veterans and service personnel.
